Mar Badia has been invited to to a conference in the The Scientific Committee of the International Conference on September 26-27, 2019 a la Warsaw University. seminari-compatibilitatThe Seminar on the Compatibility between Work Practices and Permanent, Full-Disability Pensions was held in the Faculty of Law of the UAB on 20 November 2018. The regulation that addresses the relationship between the workplace and pensions raises doubts about the design of the normative and the complexity and specificity of each case. The speakers agreed that social-labor insertion is a tool that promotes social inclusion and the need to review incapacitation procedures in order to minimize the uncertainty that this reality produces both in the business sector and for the individuals involved.

On the 17th and 18th of March 2017, with the participation of the ICE of the UAB, the Conference on Inclusive Education and Social Experiences was held. The objectives of the conference were to analyze the current state of inclusive processes, to get to know inclusive practices based on evidence and case studies, and to create a space for reflection and exchange.

Within the framework of the INCLUTE project, forty teachers from China came to the UAB during the month of October 2017 to attend a Seminar on Inclusive Practices. Also in attendance were the UAB institutions, the Department of Education, local primary schools and associations and entities from the socio-educational world.

 

On 7 October 2017 the Seminar on the Impact of Employment Regulations for Elderly Workers: Proposals for Improvement (DER2013-41638R) was held at the UAB. During the seminar, research results were shared related to change towards new work policies and practices for elderly workers with special needs. Similarly, the seminar allowed for debate and the exchange of ideas between academics, social partners and other agents in public administration involved in the employment of elderly workers. It is hoped that all these efforts, in turn, will lead to the completion of the research project.
